Not often we would make a noise about a lengthy project but one of Netsquared's oldest has just completed after a 7 year restoration.

Rob's classic 1965 VW Cabrio has finally hit the roads after a complete rebuild. Whilst it seemed like a good idea at the time, I'm sure there were moments where he wished he had never started.

This years Vintage VW Show in Hessisch Oldendorf Germany provided the final push, although in truth, the car didn't quite make it !

Being a bit of a geek, Rob sent live photo updates from his mobile phone to his website so that we could track his progress - so minutes after his clutch gave way only 10 miles from home we all knew about it! Fortunately his modern car didn't let him down, so he continued to post updates from the show all weekend.
